Dear Business Owner,
How would you like to:
Increase staff productivity?
Lower medical costs and sick leave?
Develop a happy, healthy, self-motivated workforce that is brimming over with enthusiasm and energy?
There are many obvious benefits in reducing stress and improving staff health in the corporate workplace: reduced medical expenses and downtime caused by absenteeism, and even presentism - when the employee is physically present at work, but his/her mind is elsewhere. Everyone knows that healthy employees are more effective than unhealthy employees. Recent research has shown that fit employees made 60% fewer mistakes than unfit employees in tests requiring concentration.

Unwanted weight gain is a complex problem that is contributed by social, behavioral, cultural and physiological factors. Excessive body fat is a major contributor to the global burden of chronic disease and disability, a problem that seems to be getting worse globally.
Most weight loss programs today focus either on quick solutions that do not have long-term effects or on calorie counting diets which have proven to be impractical in the real world. In fact, an estimated 95% of all people who lose weight on a diet, gain it back. Most start on a diet and gave up feeling discouraged when they don’t lose much fat, even though they may have lost 5 kilos of water weight. Some may have started on a diet and lost weight, but gained back more weight, and then gave up in discouragement. Or some have compulsively eaten various miracle weight loss diets only to watch their weight fluctuate like a yo-yo.
End result is: the average busy corporate executive who wants to get in shape often ends up confused and may even lose their health along with the kilos. Done incorrectly, the body goes into starvation mode when it is deprived and starts to cannibalize vital organs and release various toxins into the blood. Untrained supervision or unsupervised weight loss programs are detrimental to your health!
Health Coach International’s integrative weight loss program is a proven effective, safe and quick way to lose body fat. It focuses on long-term weight control by reducing superficial and visceral fat only as well as increasing your metabolic rate. Depending on your particular circumstances and health conditions, our team of qualified health coaches use a combination of techniques like dietary therapy, behavior therapy and physical activity.
Workplace stress is growing at an alarming rate. In the US, experts at the Centers for Disease Control and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health have found that:
Stress is linked to physical and mental health, as well as decreased willingness to take on new and creative endeavors.
Job burnout experienced by 25% to 40% of US workers is blamed on stress.
More than ever before, employee stress is being recognized as a major drain on corporate productivity and competitiveness.
Depression, only one type of stress reaction, is predicted to be the leading occupational disease of the 21st century, responsible for more days lost than any other single factor.
USD300 billion, or $7,500 per employee, is spent annually in the US on stress-related compensation claims, reduced productivity, absenteeism, health insurance costs, direct medical expenses (nearly 50% higher for workers who report stress), and employee turnover.
That’s not just in the US, the bad news is: It’s a worldwide phenomenon.
Besides costing your organisation a lot in medical expenses and downtime caused by absenteeism, there are also many hidden benefits to developing a happy, healthy, stress-free work environment: A more motivated work force; more creativity and innovation; higher productivity, the list goes on…
Our Positive Energy program will help the participants to understand stress better and regain control of their lives.
There are plenty of reasons why your staff should quit smoking: Reduced medical costs, lower number of sick leave and increased productivity, on the part of the organisation, and of course, for the smoker, better health and longer life span
Smoking is a major health hazard. There is now an exhaustive body of evidence —including hundreds of epidemiological, experimental, pathological, and clinical studies — to demonstrate that smoking increases the smoker’s risk of death and illness from a wide variety of diseases.
Most smokers accept the fact that smoking is harmful, but many think of this risk as something like a game of roulette: They believe that each cigarette they smoke is like placing a bet. The “prize” is a heart attack, lung cancer, or some other disease. If your “number’ comes up, you’ve had it, but if you are “lucky” and your number never comes up, you may avoid the hazardous effects of smoking altogether and live to a ripe old age totally unaffected by your smoking habit.
Nevertheless, it has been found that three out of four smokers would like to quit. Five out of six say they would not start smoking in the first place, if they had the choice to make over again.
But to quit smoking isn’t easy. Studies have shown that many successful quitters failed in their first attempts to quit.
That’s why at Health Coach International, we are committed to help you quit smoking, stay smoke-free for life and regain your health.
Our 12-week Smoking Cessation Program comprises 10 hours of group coaching (five 2- hour sessions) and two hours on one-one coaching.
